Batam, 23 August 2024. Riau Islands Tourism gained additional impetus with the formation of the ISSITA Riau Islands Regional Leadership Council for the Management Period 2024-2029. Dr. Isyak Meirobie, S.Sn., M.Si., CBA serves as the General Chairperson.
Indonesia Sport and Special Interest Tourism Association (ISSITA), also known as the Indonesian Sports and Special Interest Association, is a sports and special interest partnership that promotes tourism in the Riau Islands and throughout Indonesia.
Jadi Rajagukguk, Chairman of the DPD KEPRI ISSITA, announced two upcoming international events: the '2024 ICF Tour de Batam Gran Fondo bicycle event on October 4, 5, and 6, 2024 in the Nongsa area of Batam, and the Batam Beach Music Festival from Sunset to Sunsrise on November 8 and 9, 2024 in the Bengkong City Batam Centre area, featuring over 40 international artists and four unique mega stages.
