The first group is a mix of students, teachers, and parents from Singapore's secondary and junior high schools, with the majority being Singaporeans and the remainder being from the United Kingdom, Greece, China and  Malaysian. Their schedule includes visiting an orphanage centre, eating local food, and visiting the zoo.

The second group is a Malaysian firm that will stay for three days and two nights for a company retreat with a full-board package and a full schedule that includes visiting their company in Batam, seeing the Balerang Bridges and  Museum, photo stop at  welcome to Batam monument, Pink Beach Beach Club, shopping, and enjoying the local market and spa
