ASITA KEPRI will hold the 2025 Regional Working Meeting ( RAKERDA ) at Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands Province
Batam on September 10, 2025. The ASITA KEPRI Regional Executive Board (DPD) recently announced the execution of the 2025 Regional Working Meeting (RAKERDA), which would take place on September 13-14, 2025, in Tanjung Pinang City, Riau Island Province. This Rakerda is crucial for ASITA KEPRI because it coincides with coordinated efforts to develop tourism in the Riau Islands and throughout Indonesia, as well as attempts to meet tourist arrival targets.
Eva Betty, Chairperson of the ASITA KEPRI DPD, announced the RAKERDA facts straight following a recent committee meeting. The 2025 ASITA KEPRI Regional Working Meeting (RAKERDA) is titled "Synergising to Build Sustainable Tourism in the Riau Islands." The RAKERDA will prioritise challenges and projects aimed at advancing tourism in Indonesia's Riau islands. The 2025 RAKERDA, held at Tanjung Pinang, exemplifies ASITA KEPRI's dedication to marketing Tanjung Pinang and its distinctive attractions, especially Penyengat Island. The RAKERDA will also invite the Governor of the Riau Islands Province, the Director of the Riau Islands Province Tourism Office, and other tourism offices. Eva Betty also advised all ASITA KEPRI members to remain united and contribute to the nation amidst the heated competition in ASEAN
The Governor of the Riau Islands Province, the Head of the Riau Islands Province Tourism Office, and representatives from other tourism offices will also attend the Regional Working Meeting (RAKERDA).

ASITA is the Indonesian Association of Tour and Travel Agencies. ASITA was created on January 7, 1971, in Jakarta, and its national headquarters are still located there. ASITA operates 38 Regional Leadership Councils (DPDs) throughout Indonesia, one of which is the Riau Islands Province DPD.
